Food Truck Application

Douglas County PrideFest 2024 is looking for three food trucks for this year's festival. We will choose food trucks based on their menu, their support for the LGBTQIA+ community, and their ability to meet local permitting requirements. Food trucks who are accepted into Douglas County PrideFest will receive an acceptance email upon approval.

  • Applications Due: 6/25/24

  • Decision By: 7/1/24

  • PrideFest Date: 8/4/24

  • PrideFest Times: 11AM - 6PM

Food truck vendors will be assigned a 10' x 20' festival space. All vendors must provide all equipment needed for set-up. Spaces for food trucks will be assigned on a rolling arrival schedule to accommodate the space.

It is the food truck’s responsibility to provide all necessary electricity/energy requirements.

Food trucks must be present at their truck throughout the event to sell their product personally. You may only operate/sell within your assigned space. All food trucks will be required to stay from 11AM-5PM.

All beverages, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, will be sold by Douglas County PrideFest and proceeds will go directly to the PrideFest fundraising goals. Food trucks are not permitted to sell beverages of any kind.

The event is open to all businesses, non-profits, crafters, artists, and any other organization or individual approved by Douglas County Pride. By submitting an application you are recognizing that the purpose of this event is to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community and that your participation at this event will support and promote the acceptance and validation of the LGBTQIA+ community in Douglas County and more broadly. In so doing, you also acknowledge that you in no way will speak poorly of the community, try to recruit people away from the community, or in any other way actively take a stance against the LGBTQIA+ community.

Food trucks must follow PrideFest rules and regulations as well as Town of Parker requirements during PrideFest.

All vendors agree to abide by all policies, procedures, guidelines, fees and operations relating to Salisbury Park, the Town of Parker, and Douglas County PrideFest. Douglas County PrideFest and the Town of Parker are not responsible for any damages or loss.

All vendors release the Town of Parker and Douglas County PrideFest, and its respective officers, directors, employees, volunteers, agents, and representatives, from all claims, suits, actions, damages, and liability (including without limitation reasonable attorney’s fees, costs, and expenses of defense) for personal injury, death or property damage that arises out of or is caused, in whole or in part, by vendor negligence or wrongful misconduct conducted on the premises of the Event and its responsibilities herein. The foregoing indemnity shall apply regardless of whether the injury, death, or property damage is contributed to by the active or passive negligence of vendor, but it will not apply to the extent that the injury, death or property damage is (i) caused solely by the negligence of the Town of Parker and Douglas County PrideFest or its agents, volunteers or employees or (ii) is caused or contributed to by the intentional tortuous acts or gross negligence of the Town of Parker and Douglas County PrideFest or its agents, volunteers or employees.

The Town of Parker and Douglas County PrideFest are not responsible for lost or stolen items. By signing below, Vendor represents that all information provided on the application for Vendor space is true and correct. Vendor also represents that they have read and understand all the policies and procedures outlined herein and in the Douglas County PrideFest application, and it is agreed that all information included in this document is part of this contract and no other agreement shall be binding upon the parties unless in writing and signed by the owners of Douglas County PrideFest.

I/We the applicants have read the rules and regulations related to my/our participation as a food truck vendor for the 2024 Douglas County PrideFest and agree to abide by them. I/We understand the terms of the liability release.
